Yes, bots are infiltrating this board with almost non-spamish messages. I believe that some of these bots may actually be low paid people who sign up to the boards manually to implement their spam, as I can't see this many getting through our registration tricks. At any rate, if you see a spam bot post, please do not respond to it, especially if it bumps an ancient thread. Instead, send me a PM or post in this thread, and I will deal with it. Do this for any new user with a seemingly off-topic post, even if it sounds like a legit post. I will delete the post, and assign the special rank of "Defeated Bot" to any banned bot. It is safe to assume any new poster is a bot, unless their post has actual substance.
To the other admins, I suggest using that rank for any bot banning.

15khz being pretty low for an snes horizontal sync rate... 640x480@60Hz is around 29kHz min.

15000 Hz / 30 Hz = 500 lines
So it'd be ok for SNES resolutions.

I just went through all the new users that have joined this month and banned any suspected bots.
Fun fact: most bots don't even bother to make a post!
