No, because that sounds like minor patch release #08 for v0.016. :) Just use the next major version number and call it 0.017 pre8 or 0.017 alpha8 or whatever, it would be a lot clearer. You're working to finish 0.017, not working to make tiny fixes in 0.016... Edit: and I have way more than 1 post, ...
