the 16bpp in 32bpp problem might be it, but if glgears is running slow, then your drivers arent set up correctly. i remember this from trying to set nvidia drivers up in mandrake. go to #nvidia on irc.freenode.net (IRC), and ask them about it. im sure they will be able to help. for me, i dont think...

Yeah i have zsnes (btw i am dumb).3X taken from a web apt source... It's just more easier for me to install the emulator. I tried the lastest version of course but it's just the same thing... Do other linux users have the same problem? I really don't know...

You are running in 32 bpp, but ZSNES is forcing 16 bpp.
You may experience poor performance and/or crashing.

Yeah, all those drivers *should* be installed.

Sure, openGL screensavers are pretty slow... Weird...

Video Resolution...

I have Zsnes installed on my Debian GNU/Linux sarge.

I can't use resolution bigger than 640x480 'cause it slows too much... But there's no reason on my pentium 2.4ghz with 256mbram and 64mb video card.

...I'm a linux noob of course. Please help! Thanks!
