Already tried every gamma and brightness setting with ootake, which is how I know its the palette to blame. . I know, I was just pointing out that for color replication it's hard to get it to look proper compared to a real TV. And I thought it looked good enough compared to the other shot. Once I r...

FirebrandX: Try setting the gamma to 1.14 in Ootake. It should look similar to the other shot. Edit: I turned off scanlines too. Something seems funky with the way Ootake handles them. One thing I'd like to point out though is the colors on my PC Engine / TG16 console looked completely different whe...

GGPO must actually be tailored for each individual game's code for the magic to work. So it only support a limited (albeit growing) number of games. That's kind of lame if that were the case. As for games it'd be nice to see some outside of CPS or Neo Geo. I'd say NAOMI, but there's no open source ...

Grinvader already gave the source. But if you'd like to read this horrible manga issue it's chapter 33 of volume 5. It does kind of help to know what's going on with the story in the past issues, but it's not that important. Fakku has a couple of naughty street fighter specific ones if you fancy tha...

If you're using Windows, ATI or Nvidia about the same. Every driver upgrade both companies seem to manage to break stuff. I had to roll back my drivers from 178.24 just to play left 4 dead. Well I guess their speed optimization worked for older Gefoce 7xxx cards, but it's a bit irritating looking at...

What about an editor like Grafix2 ? Sorry that it's like delux paint, but it supports the same stuff mspaint does. It works extremely well too for editing old images. It's in beta so I guess use it at your own risk like the application says. Though I use it for normal editing and haven't had any maj...

This game is pretty insane. I just fended off a bass guitar, FUCK. I'll give it extra points for making the game more fun then challenging because I can't stand crap like that. The pacing is really nice too with all the save points.

Edit: oops

I was reading this topic before my friend shot me the link so it just kind of ended up that way. I know it's doing way more stuff then a real 8-bit system of ...

It would be a menu option and not something that people need to change in the middle of action. I'm going to have to disagree with you there. I'll switch to turbo mode in the middle of fighting some of the ST's in Battle Clash. Pressing fire rapidly sometimes just wont cut it when there's a barrage...

Cursor at least in battle clash would select an item in your inventory then you'd press fire to use it. It's on the back of the front grip of the super scope, if that makes any sense. Final edit: Wikipedia works too http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Super_Scope . If that doesn't help I made a lame pictur...

If you had the file Nintendo - Game Boy Advance (20080911_RC).dat you'd have to rename it to gba-20080911.dat. I don't know why you have to do that but it wouldn't rename the files at all. I ran it with ./ucon64 --scan --rename ./roms and everything was peachy. saddsaf.gba Checksum (CRC32): 0x1428fe...

You could install Virtual PC 7.0 on your Mac and run goodnes off of that. Heck if you don't want to install Windows just get a ReactOS iso. I've run goodnes off of it before. Not the most ellegant solution, but it works.

What do you mean "give it a toss"?? I bet its slang, but I need replies t the letter because people keep talking in HEX etc... :) There's really no slang involved. When I said give a toss I meant to throw it away, delete the file etc and find a good dump of the game. If you open the rom u...
