Found a "new" issue that does can cause some new games to become unplayable. Since direction combinations like up+left and left+down aren't supported, you can't crouch and crawl in World Of Illusion for example and in other games requiring this, potentially making the games unplayable past...

Haha, the cheat converter works. :D I'll update the bug list in a couple minutes. :) About the directionals problem (up+left, up+right), this exists in the Windows version too. Gens/Gens32 has the same issue, but Gens+ doesn't since there's support for it that variant. :) EDIT: Updated the bug track...

Shame there isn't a way to covert Kega's cheat files to Regen's format. =P That'd save a lot of time.

franpa, is there any games specifically you want a cheat.dat file for? I'd be glad to. :)

By the way, I use Notepad++ to edit/create cheat files, so you guys know. :)

Ok, noticed more little issues. -Selecting a window size doesn't have a little check by the selection. -Ghost sprites (and other sprites like the Exit signs) in Castle Of Illusion appear above the HUD, instead of behind like in Kega/real hardware. So you know, the disable sprite limitation option is...

Oh yes... - No autopause if minimized using taskbar button. Windows reports that Regen has the focus. I could not find any emulator, with autopause option, that autopaused this way. Kega Fusion supports this on Windows Vista. I can minimize via the taskbar button and it autopauses. :) Now, to pass a...

Some of them. Mainly Sonic 1 at the moment.

About cheats, here's what I got so far (mainly Sonic games)...

Starting today though, I'll start adding cheats for other games. :)

New bug. -Selecting Start netplay mid-game causes the emulator to lock-up, and when you try to reset (hard reset) the game, the emulator exits. Also, I'd like to request smaller fonts. I could make one, but I'm slightly too lazy right now. :P About the size of Kega's font would be nice. :) I noticed...

Ok, some technical comments from a user from the Sonic Retro forums... Suggest a blurring filter such as Kega's one. The RF TV one, not the other, as that takes into account three columns rather than two, is centered always and normally matches more what's seen on TV. The NTSC filter provided in the...

Thanks AamirM. :) @ goatman64, have you tried updating your sound card's drivers? Also, on a couple sites I've posted about Regen, some people have mentioned some feature requests I'd like to pass along here. :) -Ability to not use any graphics filters (like Kega has for "Normal"). -Abilit...

New issue noticed. Savestates don't work with Virtua Racing. Is this because of the SVP chip?

Somebody gave me some vital information about how why PAR isn't working with odd numbered codes, thanks to shobiz for this explanation... In case you still don't understand how PAR codes work and why odd-numbered PAR codes aren't working, the reason is that for RAM changing codes, PAR does more than...

Yes, any codes created/working in Kega will work in a real Pro Action Replay on the real hardware while Gens' PAR codes won't. If thats the case then the codes should not have to be changed for usage on Regen, if there is a need to change them it would seem like Regen's memory mapping is not hardwa...
