It does sound like most of you have missed the time when you couldn't apply AA to many shader-based games (specifically those with HDR)... there were discussions on that (in the graphics card communities), and now you people reinvent the wheel? The reason for that was they used deferred rendering. ...

With some protections like Armadillo, Themida, EXECryptor and Enigma, forcing to a specific HWID is needed when cracking it. So, franpa is right, just not in the way he intended. 8)

But generally, forcing to a specific ID for the end user is stupid, and pathetic.

In response to N64 emulation threads on byuu.org

Since byuu added a dictatorship, I am forced to post my responses here. Thank you byuu. Even though I was wanting to be civil in the sections beside the bsnes section, which I completely avoid: I have to post here. I am somewhat glad it happened that a seperate forum exists: It seperates the riffraf...

http://windowsitpro.com/article/articleid/14781/what-is-a-sid-security-id.html Security I.D. was the term I was looking for ._. Yes, yes... and how exactly is that tied to copy protection. I can't imagine Stardock says "Okay, send us your SID and we'll send you a custom-compiled version of our...

Hey, I got SW Rogue Squadron working on Vista/Win7/XP by custom ASM hacks/cracks, so don't laugh >.< Wasn't Rogue Squadron made for Windows 95? If it was a DOS-only game, I'll be WAY more impressed. Not that I'm not already, but... Yes, it was made for Win95/98, with a Win16 based installer and all.

There was source for SNSF player, but couldn't find EXE version from it. If only SNSF format would work with MGME. That would be cool! 8) Honestly, I don't know how that would work out. Is there any source to that DLL? Assuming you turn that emu into a dll, it's feasible by making it use blargg's a...

To be fair: Starforce is damn good, protection wise. It stopped SCCT from being reversed for a year. Not to mention its VM hell, obfuscation are plenty, and ironically some of the SF devs were in a cracking group in the past. Got to love irony. Same with Securom. The same people developing it, are t...

I know enough sense not to make any software shareware or commercial, since its going to be pirated no matter what. No matter the protection. :? I just don't get why devs don't get that. I'm still wondering if zSNES is still in development
It is in development. Except, all development is in a private SVN, and it will stay that way.

From the last sources I had, you can move from song to song, with the mini playback control (like NotSo Fatso).

The last thing I would want is to use Winamp hooks.
