What the hell is this and how do I turn it off,
been using zsnes 1.51 for damn near 5 months
and this never bothered me before...

Its probably already been posted about somewhere else, and its probably not anything terribly bad. But on occasion when I hit the Escape key, there's this wierd little black splotch that floats from the right side of the screen to the left. http://i528.photobucket.com/albums/dd324/bickznood/Wieeeeee...

Maybe the next Zsnes could have a 10 band equalizer for the audio output, and maybe some better looking screen savers. Like one with a bunch of vector triangles rotating and bouncing around. Also, the ability to change the "State Saved" message font.

If only such a thing were cheaper, I'd consider getting one.
Sucks that SmartJoy didn't make a 2-player version of its
Snes to USB converter box, though I spose you can get
the same effect by getting one of those 4-way USB splits
and attaching the pre-USB'd snes gamepads sold on ebay.

Perhaps a stupid suggestion, but have you tried using Joy2Key?
I got the same adapter from Lik-sang (before they got killed off)
and I use Joy2Key to set a profile so that pressing a button on the
gamepad acts like pressing a letter or arrow on the keyboard.
