Sure you can. If you know what you're looking for in order to allow or disallow it. That's the part that could be incredibly tedious to map out.

Thanks for the reply. Why not just ignore the minor changes such as mount and dismount of Yoshi? I mean, using SMW as an example: map, outdoor, underground, ghost house, castle and boss fight music are all different. I don't understand the SPC700 all that well, but there has to be a set of commands ...
