Thank you for this post! I've been wondering for a while if I could do this.

Ya, this is great for people that don't want to reach for their keyboard when hitting a shortcut button. I like to assign the extra buttons to a turbo function, though sometimes. That gets in the way if I want to may save/load state to the bumpers or triggers.

Thank you for this. I've been an exclusive PC user, until recently, now I can use my hands-down favorite emulator on my mac.
