Re: Duke Nukem Forever to officially get a release date

I loved the game. Played it from beginning to end and had a ton of fun with it. I'm definitely not regretting I bought it.

Re: 16:9 Viewing Causing Image Stretching

On my monitor, which is a BenQ Senseye 3, I can use the monitor's menu system to set it to NOT stretch a 4:3 image. That way I can enjoy SNES games in their original ratio if I just set the emulator to a 4:3 resolution. Though I honestly don't mind playing my games stretched into widescreen mode. In...

Re: Does not run now on widescreen

The custom resolution thing is probably meant to be used for widescreen monitors or other monitors with unusual non 4:3 resolutions.

Well, the game itself is emulated very good now, so it is only a minor flaw.

Besides, I do have the real cartridge on real hardware, just not where I live at the moment, so the emulator is more a temporary replacement for me until I can play the real thing again.

Let's not forget they removed SACD support too! That's right up there with Linux on the "things 99% of people don't give a flying buttfuck about" list. ... blazblue and sf4 (which are almost impossible to play with stock 360 pads, btw) Who plays fighters with gamepads anyways? Especially ...

I don't know what to say other than that you might appear to others as an idiot, mostly because of how you come off with the way you type.

And people are rude on the internet, get used to it. Don't let it get to you. There are friendly ones too.

A very neat project. If you can somehow get funding to mass produce these things you'd maybe get some money.

Metal Gear Solid was pretty groundbreaking in how cinematic it was without being a FMV-jerkoff. It had good voice actors, it had an engaging and interesting plot and it was incredibly cool to play as you were discouraged to kill people, instead taking the sneaky route, something a lot of action game...

Star Fox End titles music is out of sync

I was finishing up a playthrough of Star Fox on the hardest level in ZSNES when I noticed something odd. Sure Star Fox runs a lot more accurate now than in previous versions, but now it actually runs TOO slow for the end titles music. The end titles music finishes way before you get to the "The...

I have no problems using the current GUI, except for that the filenames don't show correctly in ZSNES if they are too long, but that can be fixed by associating SMC-files with ZSNES and opening them via Explorer.

Have you made sure the file name of the patch matches that of the room?
Example:
ROM: clocktower.smc
Patch: clocktower.ips

ZSNES will only do the patching if the file names match.

I think ZSNES is pretty awesome because it sticks out. The DOS-like interface gives it a very original and nice-looking factor in contradiction to all those emulators who rely on a boring GUI.

Even when ZSNES 2.0 comes out I'll still be using this old version just because I love the DOS-like interface.

I've always preferred ZSNES because of its retro look. After all, aren't roms supposed to be retro? And most of all SNES roms?

That rant is just... epic fail.

For some reason whenever I try starting the NTSC filter my comp crashes. It never happens on other comps. Must be my graphic card.
