That's due to the fact ZSNES doesn't use a "Windows-like" GUI, I assume ?
Oh well, thanks guys.

Request concerning keyboard handling

Is there any way to make ZSNES work "properly" with all types of keyboard ? I'm using an AZERTY keyboard, and for example, just now I had to struggle to find out how to do a ":" to write a path, which I eventually managed to do by doing a weird key combination (shift + dollar). T...

Hmmm... I've been working on a SMK hack for years, and I hadn't noticed that. Taking a close look at SMK, I could see the kart wheels are not perfect rounds, indeed.
Oh well, I'm not going to change my sprites just for that.

How about "vintage" or "oldschool" ? And I don't know anything about the topic, but I just thought I'd reply to this.

Advice: the PNG format is much more appropriate for screenshots than the BMP one... Much smaller files, same quality.
The BMP format shouldn't even be used on the net... This forum system won't even display them anyway, as you can see.

Yeah, I understood I had to use the GUI, but I thought I had found a bug. So I take it mode 7 being broken when I use the pause key is "normal" as well ?

Thanks for the reply, grinvader... But like, if you're in a Super Mario Kart race, pause the game, leave the emulator, come back and press escape twice, it'll show a buggy screen, due to Mode 7 stuff not being shown right.

That works indeed, but it's still glitchy, obviously.
The black screen for one, and if you hit escape to bring the menu, you'll have to struggle a bit pressing escape and P to get back into the game.

I tried to reproduce the bug by switching between resolutions (messing with filters in the process) and pressing escape like mad, but it didn't work... I guess this one is going to be a bitch to figure out. Happened to me quite a few times in a row just now, and I hadn't changed the resolution. Migh...

I'm guessing any game. First time it happened with Final Fight 2, the second time with my Super Mario Kart hack. Edit: Also, another rare bug... GUI bug (and joypad bug)

This is a rare bug that has only happened twice to me... It happens with the latest WIPs. The thing is, after pressing escape to bring up the menu, you can't get back into the game. You can still see the game image with the purple filter on it though... Pressing escape to try to go back to the game ...

Cool !

By the way, I noticed moving the ZSNES window around (by holding the cursor on the menu) is a lot slower and less smooth than it used to be... The last WIP I used before that one being the Feb 19 one.
