you're asking for sequels. All I'm asking is for classic programs in the hands of billion dollar companies to get overhauled the same way an old film would get a new remaster. They have the source code, they could do it inhouse or farm it out. that much work to completely change one game is insane....

Er... Fitz, you do know that Diablo II can be downloaded digitally from Blizzard with your CD key, correct? I'm pretty sure that trumps even DVDs in modernity. Okay, so now all they need to do is add Diablo and Warcraft II, rewrite all the old video code to support variable resolutions so we don't ...

I really wish companies like Blizzard took the time to rewrite their classic older games to stay up to date with industry changes, plus offer them online. They never even switched over to single disc DVD editions of diablo ii or warcraft iii. Still the same old giant cardboard chest boxes spread acr...

Line duplication is an effect simulating stretched pixels for modern displays, there really is no clever way to defeat it without incurring blur. You could also make it imperceptible with an obscenely high pixel density that doesn't exist yet, but that's besides the point. Super Mario World is also ...

You have to choose between visible line duplication and blur. It strikes me as odd that anyone would want to incur noticeable levels of both. There are practically infinite variations that could be employed of every filter. Where do you think the line should be drawn? If you get your blur slider, I ...

You need to have your eyeballs checked, Missingo. The image with the least visible line duplication is the one with the most intense blur. Look at the right side of the tomato in your snes9x shot. Why would you claim that that image has no noticeable duplication? Either you want it gone or you don't...

as 'axes' that just go from extremes, eg starts centered, pressing any direction pushes them all the way to the edges? This one. The only thing that uses the POV hat area is my dual shock 2 d-pad in analog mode. Digital d-pad always uses the x/y axis box with 8 extremities. Btw, are you on SP1 like...

Okay, so for the latest WIP (first WIP I've used since official), my digital pad refuses to be recognized. When I turn the analog mode on to activate the thumbsticks, all d-pad directions get recognized as a hat. If I then turn it off again, it will recognize certain directions of the d-pad as a &qu...

You redesigned your site again and I can't access the WIP page anymore. It sounds like it would be a hassle for most people, though. that no other SNES emulator has yet :D That might be because it's kind of useless (for this system), though. They allow the best translations, digital joypad for digit...

I may want L1/R1 to control emulator speed Or just use L2/R2, which is standard on any dual shock. or if I ever get savestate support it would be nice to have a quicksave button without reaching for the keyboard. Sounds dangerous. Some people may also prefer an analog stick for movement over the D-...

Why would there ever be more than 4 analog axes per controller? Humans only have two thumbs. Lazy ass Linux driver developers mapping four physical controllers (eg 4-player PS2 USB adapter) to one logical device. Thanks, but the problem isn't on my end, it's with worthless Windows anti-virus softwa...
