Errr... never mind. I just read this:

I guess it's a little overwhelming to digest Forums when not read for a while.

If anyone wants to, please delete this thread.

My Lost ZSNES Life

I've been out-of-the-loop for nearly a year and a half with ZSNES and emulation in general. It all started with a hard-drive crash one day. Now-a-days, I feel like getting back into it, and resurrecting my ZSNES Windows Installer/Automatic Upgrader program. The only thing I've really salvaged and ha...

More Sony/PS3 crazyness! High street games shops have been told by Sony that there will be no PS3 pre-owned sections in their stores as it will be illegal for customers to sell any next-gen PlayStation games that they've bought, retail sources have revealed to GamesRadar. It seems that Sony is plann...

Below is a screen-shot of a VERY EARLY Beta Version, of my ZSNES Windows Installer. I will be adding more to it and making it even better, before the Public Beta Release. This is what the user will see while the installer is scanning for ZSNES's required components, such as DirectX 8. http://ldawg.m...

Hey all... Sorry that I kinda fell off the radar with this. My 250GB Hard Drive crashed and I lost like half of my life with it :( (yeah, I know everyone is going to flame me about back-ups and what not) On a good note: I started remaking it from scratch, and have already made it be able to upgrade ...

Here is the DSP Chip information, taken from Wikipedia: DSP-1 chip: This fixed-point Digital Signal Processor chip was created to allow programmers to generate more enhanced Mode 7 rotation and scaling effects in their games, and to perform very fast vector-based calculations. Re: Is it a RAM problem?

I have a 500mhz proscessor and 128 ram, dunno what graphics card i'm using. Wow, and I thought I had it bad because all I have is an Athlon 64 3500+ with 2GB of DDR 400MHz, and a Radeon 9800 Pro 128MB AGP (yeah, video card sucks). I have the LOWEST system specs out of like all my 10+ LAN Party Crew...

Hopefully soon, when you get your new video stuff in, seeing it in action will be awesome too.

Anyone have a need for ZSNES v0.390 circa April 1998 ?

Just going through an old hard drive, and low and behold... ZSNES v0.390.

Looks like the oldest version I have.
Does anyone have a need for it?

Hehe, this reminds me of my friend who used to work for Konami. He used to bitch all the time about people calling the support line, everyday, because they could not START Metal Gear Solid 2. They would press the O Button and it would go to the Menu Screen, and then press the O Button again, and it ...

Isn't the goal of every software Delevoper to make their product as compatiblity as possible... especially if it comprimises nothing for the rest of the user base?

Suggestion: Default VideoModeWin = 2 Instead of 3

As far as I know, some Video Cards don't handle "D" Modes correctly. This is one of the causes of people booting ZSNES up, for the first time, into a Black Screen. I think it'd be a good idea to make the default for VideoModeWin be 2 (512x448 R WIN) instead of 3 (512x448 DR WIN), in the ne...

Side note... the D-Pad works great on the Nintendo DS.
Mario Kart: DS, Mario 64: DS, and Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow are proof of this.
Now... we just need Guilty Gear: DS to be released, to put it to it's final test :)

If it's well-designed, having the source available will not affect server integrity at all. Unfortunately, it's made to the best of Ian's ability, as far as time is concerned. zbattle.net's Servers have been hacked at least twice since it's inception. Also, Ian wasn't on ICQ today, so I guess I'll ...

Thanks for the feedback! Just a thing, NSRT is a closed source program, you need to take it away...unless Nach has something else to say... The frontend is open source and under the GPL last I checked, so you need source for that provided. NSRT itself, I don't see the issue of bundling it as long as...
