How is it is speed wise versus the old version? I assume the reason for the inaccuracies was to speed the whole thing up.

I would like Option 2 for NT and Option 1 for 9x. Option 1 breaks LUA in XP.

at the part where it asks if you want to autopick the CPU, how about having a choice of selecting one manually? Selecting N would go for default, but you could specify a CPU too, if you're compiling for a different system.

When i try to use zget, it always starts to search at c: , no matter what path I have it at.

I've used the mingw installer, and when it finally finds my gcc, it says that the installation is invalid. Yet I can check it out manually and compile with ease. I'm using the current full installer, 5.0.2.

After you build and there's an update, how do you clear things so you can build from the latest? Make clean doesn't seem to do it

I've tried that, but that tends to kill sfx the same time as the music. I suppose I'll have to turn off sound.

I've asked this in PSX emulation too, and got the same response: not able to stop it :/

Turning off music without disabling sound?

RPGs tend to have annoying music that repeats itself. Is it possible to suppress just the music, leaving in the SFX?

List of files needed for DX8?

In Win98SE at least, windows opend DLLs in the local directory in preference to the system directory. Previous the Win port gave specific errors on which file was missing, but now it just says "install DX8". Is it possible to get a list of files needed for zsnesw to run? And if so somewher...

Are you using the last official Voodoo 2 drivers? If you are, grab the latest 3rd party drivers (FastVoodoo 4) from here . I've tried those before, they didn't help. The problem is that all 3rd party drivers are based on the buggy DX7 version, which means that they also have the transparency proble...

The reason I cannot update is that the Vooodoo2's DX7+ drivers have a rather large bug wherein all transparency in textures disappears. The DX6 drivers work perfectly, but when I use the DX6 drivers Half-life crashes whenever you try to get back to the main menu. The reason I asked was because I rem...

DirectX 8 requirement permanent?

I've managed to get a better computer, but Zsnes dos sound is completely garbled, not to mention that the integrated graphics doesn't like VESA2. The windows version seems to get past all these problems, but it seems to require DX8. I remember vaguely somewhere that it was planned to drop this requi...
