Some games are much less prone to desync as well.
I can't recall the last time I had a desync in Super Mario All Stars for example. But for other games, I find it frequent.

That's the JB who had the highest post count before the board got hacked/wiped some years ago, right? At times. As I recall, he was prone to editing his post count more or less at random. That was long ago, far bigger than my calves. *chuckles* I don't remember what that was from, but I remember it...

I'm not saying it's fake, I am just saying it's possible, and his member title does not give me any hints he is an admin. We actually had an admin with a negative post count at one point. I wouldn't be too surprised if that was pagefault. I don't remember clearly who that was, really. It was JB. *c...

buying MySQL just to kill it off would probably be worth $7B, everything else is just icing on the cake. Its GPL'ed, it can't be killed. Someone (some company maybe) will probably fork it. It can be killed in the sense they can pollute the market with flaky newer servers that people will attempt to...

They could pull a Microsoft.NET and make radical changes to it constantly until it bores them, and drop it like FoxPro, or J++, or VB6, or ... So? 90% of the people out there are still programming according to Java 1.3, and if they make radical changes to it, whose going to bother with them? Really...

Speaking of which, anyone worried now that Oracle owns Java? Not in the slightest. So what if they own Java? Who cares who owns the language if there's plenty of compilers for it out there? I'm more worried about Solaris, ZFS, DTrace, Open Office, and MySQL. Compile it using GCJ instead of Sun's Ja...

I may be able to think up something to manage the complexity. It's your brain, heh. Well yeah, I can manage complexity to a greater degree than most people. But once I work it out in my head, I need to simplify that into a code structure which makes it as easy as possible to come back to it later w...

i'm glad that the people in my life (family and friends) aren't that stupid. they might not be as tech-savvy, but they know enough to get by and ask the right questions. See, the thing is, she's not stupid, at least regarding other stuff. She gets a perfect score on every single test in school. Alt...

I believe it's possible to call setStyleSheet() after an app is running, so we could add some code in to still allow the GUI color config sliders to work. You can indeed change styles after it is running. And while sliders are nice, I'm thinking it might be wise to convert that to spin boxes (maybe...

OpenGL seems like a small issue. Writing a video driver would be a two hour project. As an active member of X.org, I must respectfully disagree strongly. :3 Hahahahaha!!! Oh that's good. Of course you would think that. Wake me up when X.Org gets their act together and allows sane video drivers. If ...
