No the game wors fine without the patch so it is the IPS, I guess the author used a bad version of the game then when he made the patch?

Not sure if this is the right place, but when you get to the cave of mist, and get the he spot where mist first starts talking to you (top right of the cave) zsnes quits. I've tried v1.42, 1.36, different ips patches,patching v1.0 and version 1.1 but nothing seems to fix it. I'm just wondering if it...

They are probably talking about the cheat where you push select, and you can scroll through power ups, like fire, leaf etc. I used to have a rom like that
