Just for the record, I tried to edit this post to add "Clarification requested" as the post subject (admittedly a stupid reason for an edit) and got the following error message on at least two of my attempts: FIXME - will be back to insert a copy of the message in a sec The edit did not su...

On http://byuu.cinnamonpirate.org/ , byuu wrote:Implemented O(1) binary-heap priority queue for event scheduling
I thought you said this idea didn't work out? Or is a "priority queue" not the same thing as a "delta queue"? What events exactly are being scheduled in this queue as of the 0.039 release?

I'm splitting this into a new post for clarity. I decided to google some more and ended up at Wikipedia. This info is mostly about the desktop X-Fi products, but I'll see what applies to my situation: Move the sound card to another PCI expansion slot and reinstall the sound card's drivers No go - sy...

Sorry that this is a bit of a bump, but once again I've been a bit busy with some school-related administrative issues. By "Creative's DirectSound - OpenAL wrapper" do you mean ALchemy? It was supplied on the installation disc with my sound card and is presently installed on my system. I d...

Um, there seems to be a misunderstanding here...? My operating system is Windows Vista Home Premium (with SP1 OEM-installed; forgot to say this) and is obviously 32-bit since that is all the CPU supports. I already tried tweaking a lot of registry parameters relating to the Multimedia Class Schedule...

X-Fi Xtreme Audio Notebook sound card issue

This is mostly a copypaste from what I wrote on this other forum , where I did not get a good response because the structure of that forum causes less interesting/insightful topics to be quickly buried. My computer is a Dell Inspiron 1720 laptop with a 2.5GHz Core 2 Duo CPU, 4 GB RAM (I think dual-c...

Quick question: The shaoran theme requires Firefox 3.1+, Opera 10+ or Safari 3+ for RGBA colorspace support ...but it (the shaoran theme) looks perfectly fine to me here on Firefox 3.0.5, with reasonable-looking transparency on the background image. How exactly does Fx 3.1 improve RGBA support? Can ...

Apologies for thinking zsnes was wrong based on 1.1 working. I have the 1.0 cart and was unsuccessful in trying to trigger the bug on real hardware. I presume you dumped your cart to confirm that it is 1.0? Perhaps version 1.0 had trouble on reset on some, but not all, hardware revisions of the SNE...

Here's a weird bug I discovered today. Try loading and then resetting the game "Super Buster Bros." and the much of the graphics in the game will disappear. This may need testing on real hardware. What is the full GoodSNES name of the ROM you are using? I seem to remember something simila...

(This is not directed specifically at Franky.) Just a reminder that ClamWin doesn't have real-time protection. BTW, what does [!p] mean in GoodNES? I know that it's a relatively recent addition compared to that document. I know that the ! means that some part of the dump is verified, but what does the p mean in this context?

The [c] means "faulty checksum routines," i.e. the checksum is incorrect because the game's developers set it that way, as opposed to a bad dump. (The relevant GoodTools documentation can be found here .) A related feature request: Could we consider maintaining a database of ROMs which req...

Nach, could you clarify why your special version of LAME is needed? Didn't you report a bug on LAME's Sourceforge tracker regarding the handling of stdin(?), and has that been fixed in recent versions of LAME?
