sockets are easy, they work like files.
what you need to do before you write and after you read from one is the hard part.

And why would you use a projector for games known to have stationary graphics? most NES and SNES booklets recommend against using front or rear projection display. yeah - good thing projector technology hasn't changed at all in the past 20 years. and we aren't talking about a rear projector either,...

use a composite cable from your computer to your projector and get back to us.

or try running on a LCD screen using a non-native res.

Yes, you have discovered that the display used matters!

It's called: browser.zoom.siteSpecific
It's a boolean value that defaults to true.

Sony did go brand new for tech tho.

the 360 and wii pretty much using existing tech.

Then again, consider how much the recall must have cost MS, and they are still having RROD on their units.

The real winner in this is IBM.

whatever happened to landed ball arrays anyways?

Slots were pretty effective, but with the number of lines they don't look very viable.

gotta be a smarter to attach cpu's to motherboards tho...

Xquery is what you may be after... it probably be less hassle to parse the XML and stuff it into an database, and let SQL be the magical thing it is.

which XML parser you using?

I have found that, at least for Microsoft's .NET parser, you need a namespace for Xpath to work properly.

count(/people/person) should do it, assuming there aren't more than one instance of people, then //person will work I think.

why not add an option to send audio to stdout so people can use any encoder they want? Oh, it can rip audio into raw WAV files as well. Then you can encode to anything you want. Plus adding support to rip to other formats can easily be added with a hack (but I don't know why people would want that)...
