I know why I can't get 60fps, it is because I love the ntsc filter too much... :P When zsnes has an official release with blarrgs sound core and video filter I will use it for my casual gaming with friends, but I will continue to use bsnes for my own purposes

If I am close to 60 fps, would unpacking bsnes actually help :?: :!: I guess the reason why this came up for bsnes and not other programs is that bsnes is awesome and nobody cares if their paint program is functioning as fast as possible :P

Good idea not to give them all the roms, this would overwhelm them. They may end up playing some crappy games and end up hating the systems. I still own and use my old systems primarily to play games with my younger relatives, but when I am lazy I use the emulators. Prior to blargg's filter I used m...

Honestly the whole experience was about playing the games on the actual console. Go to a flea market and get the systems if you want them to appriciate the systems. Also why get all the releases if they will never play them all??? :?

Sux. The blue ray titles I have seen have a lot of compression artifacts, while non of the hd dvd had them. The blue ray titles keep using mp2 for compression while the hd dvd were using newer tech (VC1 and AVC) :(

Yes, there is a program that does that for images. You can use the print screen function to view a window or the desktop under the effects of a scaling algorithm. Go to the homepage of the author of the hq#x algorithms to download a prog. that can do this.

Despite going almost completely grey Yeah, that's odd. I've only gotten a few gray streaks, but I'm seriously too young for that. Not sure what's up with that ... but seems like whatever is causing it, you're a lot better at it than me (as usual). You are younger than me and going grey... I think y...

Specifically Super Mario World hacks. Is there a website that repertories most of the hacks for it? I know there is romhacking.net but they only have an handful of them. edit: I don't think this qualify as a rom request as hacks themselves are just an .ips file http://www.smwcentral.net/ has patche...
