No clue, try deleting zsnes and re downloading it, make sure you have deleted the config, that sometimes works for people

My one was from ebay and it is just two female playstation connectors at the end of two cables that go into a usb connector.

sorry to double post, does anyone know if the third party controllers for the xbox have the same color wires to mod? im not keen on big controllers and the microcon looks pretty cool.
