No, that's a port to the Wii, and the protection was only in the MFC branch in the first place. the protector.exe was never placed on the SVN so those wanting to compile it had to fish through and remove the protection themselves. Besides, retards like that aren't worth stalling development over >....

Core 2 Duo doesn't have issues with its speed throttling. RDTSC always clocks at a constant rate. QueryPerformanceCounter should also be clocking at a constant rate. I don't know about Atom, though. Thats not always true. Speedstepping can and does cause fps issues in a number of emulators. (epsxe)...

you can easily disable hardware DEP in your BIOS and then re-run the program as a test. http://linksadventure.no-ip.biz/pictures/franpa-alert/franpa-code-orange.png Actually,... i have to add onto this. Funkyass is completely right. The Bios setting just disables Hardware DEP. the system will still...

So, OpenGL is the "hey we don't innovate, we imitate!" API? :? That was years ago. :P Seriously, my faith in D3D is growing more and more each day, and I am now in the stage of learning D3D based graphics programming. Its becoming more and more obvious that OGL is dead. :( It's not dead.....

You obviously haven't set dosbox up properly if Tyrian is giving you problems. ... Then they've fixed it since I last bothered, as it was a well-known and very severe bug with no cure when I was checking in october of 2007(based on the config file modification date, since I've deleted the emulator ...

I really wish companies like Blizzard took the time to rewrite their classic older games to stay up to date with industry changes, plus offer them online. Some games used abnormal width and zsnes is compensating for that, probably used alongside full screen stretching so some games don't still have black bars on either side even when stretched ?

you're asking for sequels. that much work to completely change one game is insane. while it is possible to hack the diablo 2 resolution, it's only people who cheat in multiplayer that use it. also, i run these games full-screen, 4:3 on my widescreens. I'd like to use the higher resolution, and no i...
