Re: Finally have that new computer
i'll give those a go during the next week and edit them into this post. d/l'ing borderlands from steam right now. 66% off! 22 bucks for the game and all three DLC packs. Good luck with that. I have the ATi 5770 and although in theory it *should* be able to handle borderlands flawlessly, it runs wit...

Don't even install jscalibrator in linux, as it has been known to cause controllers to not register the DPAD/Joystick Axis in emulators.

Re: How do I compile the ZSNES v1.42n Source for Linux Ubunt
I'm pretty sure there is a better guide out there, but here's the one I wrote like 3 years ago: How to compile ZSNES 1.51: Note: this is for i386 users. Install needed packages: sudo apt-get install nasm build-essential libsdl1.2-dev zlib1g-dev libpng12-dev libncurses5-dev libao-dev Download zsnes a...

Re: "Invalid Code" error when putting in any cheat
I just tried adding every single one of those codes to mine, no idea if half of them work since I didn't care enough to play the game to a part where I had those items, but they all added just fine. Are you using zsnes 1.51? What does your rominfo.txt say about your rom? I'm sure more intelligent pe...

Some [/b] of the codes I have tried: (Please refrain from trying them in yours, saying they work and expecting that to be that. Certainly, do so and see if they are, indeed, faulty, but if they do work, that means that the problem is something else, not that that somehow suddenly holds a revelation...

Of course, **** bitched about ***** not being in there. Well, if those are supposed to be what I think they are, you need more stars for the first word, unless stars don't correlate to exact letter counts. The number of stars are correct, perhaps you are just thinking about someone/something else.

It isn't in your Applications > Game menu? Looks like the packages installs a zsnes.desktop file in /usr/share/applications should it should be in your main menu already. Otherwise, what above said.

Last I checked it was in 1 release for 32-bit, missing in the next, and in both 32-bit and 64-bit in the third. Its a fucking crapshot.

1. Make sure you have downloaded the official file not some random package from the interwebs. 2. Try to use some other archive extractor like 7zip instead of some random obscure program. 3. If you can't figure out if it's a .zip or .rar you should probably enable "Show File Extensions" in...

You definitely don't want those kids to be able to reach ZSNES in-gui web browser, why they might do a google search for the Jonas brothers or *gasp* Miley Cyrus!
