I thought since the new version is out, there are no more WIP releases? I will try as soon as I'm at home.

Zsnes uses 50 % of CPU for nothing

My problem is, if i start Snes9x and minimize it to task bar it uses 50 % of my CPU, but no game is loadet and I don't know what Zsnes does. Even if I play a game it needs less CPU as to just minimize Zsnes. Is this problem known? (I use the latest Zsnes version of course, havn't tested other versio...

Is the Jma format compatible to any other formats out there? I would just like to know if you for example want to know what files a jma file contains.

If jma is that good for roms, are the jma specs free that it can be adopted by other emulators also?

thanks to nach and all other developers

What about a shell registration, that you can simply select roms, klick with the right mouse button on the selection in the explorer and select compress to jma like winzip or 7zip?

I would suggest that if you first time Zsnes there is a text like "read the readme before you start Zsnes" and automatically starts the readme.

would propably not help much, but if it helps only a bit, it would be worth the work.

Would it be easier to integrate the code of vsnes in Snes9x? I think I heard something that the GUI is written in delphi. Maybe a developer could rewrite it from scratch with a suitable programming language... just think about it what would be the best. It would be good to hear if it is on the to to...

could vsnes be integrated into snes9x or Zsnes?

I just found this freeware tool, it contains: The preview window shows you the picture that is included in the savestate file. The memory viewer allows you to view the content of the video RAM (VRAM), the work RAM (WRAM) and the cartridge using the colors selected in the palette viewer. The scene vi...

what should Super System DIP switches be good for? and what is this toaster support? I'm glad the new version is out, because a new version needs testing for bugs extensively, and the public can do that (as long as it is not buggy as hell)

there is a small chance you could it get back. There are programs out, that can recover deleted files from your harddrive, maybe this works.

If it doesn't go to zophar.net and look around, I think they have saved games from many games, maybe you find something suitable.

I think the Zsnes Skin is just good as it is. Arn't there more important things to fix first?

If Nach likes it and want to spend the time he should implement it. But in my oppinion there are more usefull things.

request for option to disable auto IPS patching

I have many roms, which have an IPS file in the zip, and it would be very nice if I havn't to delete the IPS patch, or have to make a rom for each patch I have. (It would be best if this option is in the open Rom dialog in my oppinion) I asked this in the Snes9x forum already, how difficult is this ...

This is a work in progress release, I'm glad it is out. I think it is a good sign because there are more testers that could find bugs before it gets final and speed it a bit up.

If I misunderstood something I'm sorry.

Zsnes 1.40?

Sorry I ask, but long time ago I read something that the final version of Zsnes 1.40 would appear. I'm just curious what happened and if there is a new release date. I want here no long discussion, just a short answer is enough.
