Since this bugmenot user can't convert these craptacular filters himself, I totally vote for porting Zsnes to Perl instead.

FreeDOS has a live-cd.
Maybe your sound card can give you some troubles. Possibly your vga as well, depending on how good it's vesa support is.

Perhaps it's better to remaster some light linux distro.

I'm using 4538 and, although I'm not currently playing it, I'd like to know if the problems in smrpg(freezes) are also fixed. Looking at the changelog, I'd say so, but making sure is always better.

Not to mention some guys doing hardpatches and giving these roms away, are somethimes clueless. Eg. I stumbled into a Top rom(non Interleaved), patched with the 999.ips voice hack(this works only on interleaved roms), and it didn't even include the dejap trans. Result: does nothing and freezes in th...

The slowdown in Mario Kart was quite noticeably, even more if a lot of stuff is happening on screen(curves and lot's of sprites) in 150cc, or even 100cc

If I could just get whoever stole my cart...

You are better off running the NTSC version instead of the PAL version since you aren't using PAL's normal 50Hz. The timing differences between both NTSC+PAL are intentional. You mean the rom or the cart? I don't think he made clear if he's using a pal or ntsc rom, but if it's the cart, the BR = US...

iirc pal-m = 60hz like ntsc. The other pal variants = 50hz
I don´t remember if my pal-m snes had slowdowns when spreading the blocks, tho.
no warning signs please.

it's just the timing of the asking that was brought up.

but i'm indifferent.
Look at the interval between 1.42 and 1.50, quite a while, right? Now consider they're doing major core rewrites. I wouldn't be surprised or complain if it took a year, perhaps two, to release something new.

It's funny how some users are lazy and refuse to read the docs because it takes time, yet they keep on waiting for answers in the forums, where he'll not get any since he's just being a dick.

There's a purpose for the search function.

I've used sneskey scheme and am using 2 snespads on the lpt. Except it's hacked as hell, but works, and without the diodes(using only one pin to power each).
It's not like you'll use the lpt printer nowadays.

The simple fact that it's breaking another emu suggests your system is at fault.
Assuming Zsnes worked in this setup before, maybe your vid card drivers are buggy or corrupted. Try another version, even if it's older.
