The MMZ series was supposed to be the continuation of the X series. Inafune intended for X5 to be the last X game (with Zero dead), and Z was supposed to be "hundreds of years later."

Then Capcom made X6 without him knowing and sorta fucked things up.

The best emulator is no$gba. It probably can't run NSMB, and you need the DS firmware and BIOS to run commercial ROMs.
DS emulators suck ass right now. Get a real DS.

The Zero series on the GBA is pretty awesome. Megaman ZX on the DS is also good.

Personally, I kinda like the MMBN series. It's different, but nice. Not very Megaman-like, though.

Netplay's been removed in versions newer than 1.42.

I had such a hard time finding even a friggin' Wiimote (I got my Wii a week after launch though). It's STILL hard to find them sometimes. A lot of people I know want Wiis, but can't get them. The demand for the Wii is insane.

The PS3s are ridiculously easy to find in the US. No one wants 'em.

Genesis used a Z80 as a sound processor, and it also used it as the main CPU when running SMS games. The GG is just a modified SMS, so it also has a Z80.

I guess it's just set to dump to a file for testing, not for playing.

Standby works for homebrew if there's no card. It's only when running commercial stuff that it's required.

And yes, there are PLENTY of compatibility advantages when WRITING data. SD card functionality is VERY finicky, and some homebrew could even corrupt your card!! libfat is much, much, much better at writing now. I've used DSO to write -a lot- on my M3, and not once has it ever corrupted my card. Hel...

No, I'm talking about any GBA homebrew that isn't multiboot. It limits you severely. It doesn't even have compatibility advantages anymore, and writing on it isn't any better than on another device.
You still need to buy a NoPass, bumping up the costs of it to about the same as a Slot-1 device.

The GBAMP is pointless. You can't run any GBA homebrew, and it has no SRAM. And it relies on crappy CF cards (the SD version's support is eh).
You might as well buy a slot-1 cart if you're not gonna get GBA support.

I guess I consider the frontend to be the "GUI" in this case.
