When I compile and attempt to use the exe, I get a big black box with a small square section at the bottom left with zsnes running. Any ideas?

This is where the mid boss first appears. The collision detection seems a bit off as well in this scene.

I assume that when you say "score core" you mean the sound core? Anyway, not trying to bug or annoy, just reporting a bug.

[BUG ZSNES 1.50] Axelay (U) Sound oddity during 2nd Boss

There is a possible sound bug in Axelay (U). When the 2nd Boss fires his "Death Ray" the sound effect associated with it seems way off. Can someone please confirm this on real hardware? I'm running version 1.50 with sound settings at their default values. NSRT v3.3 - Nach's SNES ROM Tools ...

I tried the GUI filtering, but it didn't seem to have an effect. Your eys may not be as touchy as mine, Agozer, but the current font gives me a headache. Yea I know, cry me a river :roll:

Question about the GUI

I know that bugging the devs about a new GUI is a no no, but is it possible to just update the existing GUI with fonts/resolution that work better with modern screens? @ 1280x1024, the full screen Zsnes GUI is really hard on the eyes with text being the worst.

The gfx still mess up during the stage 1 boss fight in Axelay (U) as well. I reported that bug a longtime ago. I'm just happy the project is alive. All that time stuck at 1.36 sucked. Console emulation is going to be great in 2005. Zsnes, MagicEngine and now Gens are being actively developed again.

Will Igor implement JMA compression/decompression into future versions of 7zip? I'll prolly stick to zip until something other that NSRT is able to manipulate the file format.
