It lacks things like a cheating ability (and no, to me CEP isn't a viable cheater for this).

He probably wasn't allowed to do development on that portion (actually, I recall somebody asking the reason for the bad sound, forgot what he said).

Well, you can't really accurately compare a Gamecube game to a Genesis game audio wise. There's bound to be differences how the game was developed.

Kega. Isn't. Dead. Period. I don't care if there hasn't been an update since 2006, that doesn't mean a project is dead. It means Snake has things going on in real life that take away from any time to do any proper updates to Kega and release them. Snake is a friend of mine, and he will update Kega w...

Kega - Seem no longer be updated. Regen murder it. Regen - Step in and then crushes Kega skull. Kega will ever come back from the dead? Wrong, and it's not dead... it's been sleeping. If anyone has doubt about this, never click this link . Besides, Snake has little to no free time these d...

Yeah, but it doesn't seem like Kega is changing anytime soon. Er, unless you are talking about 44100 for Regen. Gotcha. Well, I don't think Steve Snake would ever add 48000Mz to Kega really. And yes, I meant 44100Mz for Regen's SuperHQ just for the sake of accurate comparison to Kega (and for recor...

Or the messages system could be redone how to how Kega Fusion probably does it. Seems to me it doesn't have problems/issues with nVidia drivers. :)

I love the readme file. ;) Emulator messages appear corrupted. Would you please fix it? ------------------------------------------------------------ This is not a problem with Regen. This is a problem with NVidia Forceware 93.71 drivers. You have four choices to fix this problem: * Update the driver...

What I'm saying is, before they can be compared, they should be equally matched, especially for WAV dumping purposes.

Who knows, Kega might gain 48000Mz one day for SuperHQ mode. ;)

I wonder if the things we hear is because of the 48000Mz rate Regen uses for SuperHQ mode over the 44100Mz rate Kega uses.

Having 59.89 and 61Mz refresh rates is kinda odd if you ask me. What kind of monitor do you have?

Yeah, it would be nice if there was a way where you can have a single codebase where you can basically update the Linux and Windows versions at the same time (perhaps a port for OSX too?). :P In fact, somebody recently released a version of Gens called Gens/GS to eventually maintain it into a single...

Not in Regen, no. VSync + Turbo Mode doesn't work. When you activate Turbo Mode with VSync enabled, nothing should happen.

Do you have VSync enabled in Regen when you enable Turbo Mode? If so, Turbo Mode doesn't work with VSync.

Now, about the graphics card issue(s). I'd ask what card(s) everyone else uses successfully, and pick one based on the opinions (or if there's multiple people using the same card). :)
