Hey, I'm just trying to have the fun of using a feature before an official or WIP release. :) That's a good point too. Seems like good points are all the rage these days.. I thought about this for awhile. In most cases, by the time you updated the source from anonymous CVS, the devs would have foun...

IF you need a 15-step guide, you shouldn't be compiling zsnes - you gain little benefit in doing so. That's a really good point. It is possible to get source code that compiles into a "broken" ZSNES if you fetch it from CVS. Also, the ZSNES devs have good judgment. They know when it is an...

[And would asking how to download all files from CVS be opening a whole new can of worms? :P] Yes. The instructions are all on the Sourceforge CVS page. Re: Compiling ZSNES - For Beginners

Is anyone willing to give a detailed walkthrough for compiling ZSNES with MinGW? Nach is right. However, you got off easy this time. What you want is in this thread. Don't go by the first walkthrough, instead, scroll to the bottom of the page and follow that one. You may have to improvise. That's w...

Thank you for all your hard work, guys. After hanging out in #zsnes for awhile, a person's appreciation for what it takes to be a ZSNES dev increases.

I'm curious, do you have a development roadmap for this project, like some Mozilla projects have?

You seem to be very organized.

That's odd, since I used to use McAfee, and ran many virus scans on my machine. ZSnes still works for me.. http://upx.sourceforge.net/phpBB/viewtopic.php?t=129 It's a really old topic I happened to run into today. I thought it might help, but I'm really just making a stab-in-the-dark-guess, and a p...

I can only speak from my experience, but for me when I enable vsync in Zsnes or Gens or VirtuaNEs it get rid of tearing completely, and I do mean -completely- , even in very fast scrolling games like *name elude me for the snes* or Sonic 3 on the megadrive. If vsync can handle these extremely fast ...

Re: My emulator won't even start, please help!

I double click on my Zsnes icon, and nothing happens! The application isn't even running under task manager, so it just plain won't start. It only did this after I did a virus scan and deleted a virus. Is there some way to make this work again? My guess is that you are using McAfee Anti-Virus. McAf...

Windows+L is rather useful for me. On occasion, I use Windows+M or Windows+D. Windows+Pause/Break is quite useful as well. That reminds me... is there a site that lists all the Windows key shortcurts in XP? I don't know about a site that lists them, but there is a list somewhere in the helpfiles. &...

Um well I've been translating anime and that junk for almost 2 and a half years now and also I started doing games this last fall. Are you saying you think Woolsey's is good?

I think I have read that article. It pretty much said what I already thought.

I think they are attemping several asm hacks that will improve things not related to the language translation.
