to be fair, that midis sound much better there as it was designed to be played on OPL chipset sound cards.
however, when such midi played on MPU-401 clone alike (M$ approach since win98 or later), it sucks.

if you can't tested with burning fire, why not employing what Gil said?car/melt/burn
Put your safe on car, Parks your car in manner as Gil said, Put any arcylic,vinyl,.. stuff on your safe.
if those survives, your safe is good.
