I really hope he meant 'peace'. Heh. On a related topic. Regarding the PSX translation of Tales of Phantasia, they were opposed to using Dejap's translation due to massive differences in the script. Also it seems, they havent really got anywhere in the means of hacking yet either. He did make up so...

Yeah I can understand that but if I want to play DQ3 remix, I can always play DW3 on my GBC, GBA or hell even my GBA player. I know it sounds worse, the graphics are worse, but its still a step up from the NES, and I dont have to wait for a snes translation release

IPS patches

I have noticed quite a bit, that most games need a header to be compatible with a translation patch. I take it, that IPS patches are basically a list of offsets/addresses within a certain file, and the values to be written? So if you removed a 512 byte header, then all the addresses are 512 bytes of...

No problem, I just thought I was overlooking it somewhere in the docs or faq. Anyway, I used to use my HammerHead FX and just use one of my analogs as a mouse. Nowadays I just use my remote wonder to click into the gui, and my controller to navigate gui. Thanks for the info though guys, its nice to ...

Heh, way back when... Anyone remember the birds? It was classic. zsnes has come quite a ways. What ever happened that caused a great surge in the accuracy of the sound core (If I remember right, at the time the spc was undocumented and attempts to re were few)? I remember that after a couple of vers...

Warning! Retarded question ahead!

Ok being that I run ZSNES output to my tv, I have set up the gamepad I use to navigate around the GUI. Is there a way to set a button on the controller to enter the gui?

Like with 98% of Linux software, you must compile it from source. To build on link's reply, the reason you must compile zsnes from source in linux, is because rarely are any linux systems exactly the same. A binary compiled for system a may not work on system b. A binary compiled for system c may n...

I'd gladly wear one. Shit I'd buy 2 or 3 if they came in XXXL sizes. Love the icon idea, and the toast idea. I like the idea of a mousepad too.

What are the DQ3 remix's differences?

Ok, I have taken a look at the SNES version of DQ3, but I own a copy of DQ3 Remix for the gbc, what is the difference between these versions? It seems the graphics are similar to each other. (As similar as can be due to differences in GBC and SNES.) My assumtion is that this would basically be a por...

Lets see if I can remember this... (just ununstalled mt ati aiw 9200). What they all said above is correct. I also found that if I modified the video overlay settings to full screen, zsnes would display in its window on the pc and full screen on the tv.

You will not be able to read the script using Tile Layer Pro. The script is (dont know how to eplain am not well versed in romhacking anymore), more or less going to look like code, or just plain static in tile layer. There may be a utility a two that can help you if you want to see and possibly cha...

Is CuOnPa a BS game?

I remember seeing a thread a while back about CuOnPa being broken since a certain release of zsnes (I'll have to search that thread again, as I found that game quite entertaining). I was looking around and thought I saw that CuOnPa or "Endorfun" was a BS satlelite game?
