N64 Emulators

Post by AntoineWG »

I need a good N64 emulator, specifically for the Zelda games. I tried Project64, and it runs pretty well, but it keeps making clicking and popping sounds. Any recommendations.

Relavant specs:
XP Pro
AthlonXP ~3000+
GeForce 6600 GT 128 MB
1 GB RAM
AC'97 sound

Clicking and popping in the audio is usually caused by the option 'Sync game to Audio' turned off in the Jabo audio plugin settings. I recommend project64 over 1964 :)

With a system like that, Project64 is your best bet.
whicker: franpa is grammatically correct, and he still gets ripped on?
sweener2001: Grammatically correct this one time? sure. every other time? no. does that give him a right? not really.

After playing around with it for a while, I found that Azimer's audion plugin and the glN64 graphics plugin seemed to work the best.
