LOL Thread 3 - Return of the LOL

If someone asked me for a list of high quality SNES emulators, this is what I would provide said person with:
bsnes
zsnes
snes9x
snesgt
super sleuth

Are there any other SNES emulators that belong in this category?

VC is good, but the only problem is the lack of SNES RPGs. That's why running emulators on the Wii solves this issue. But yeah, SnesGT is my SNES emu of choice (to hold me off until Zsnes 2.0). That, and it uses the 2nd best SPC700 core.

Ok, I will be more specific then :D

Aside from the five snes emulators I listed, what are the best snes emulators for x86-compatible PC's (for Windows and/or Linux -- I would say BSD, Mac OSX, but I don't have those).
I am also after decent SNES emulators for the Xbox. (I would say PS2, but the only available SNES emu for PS2 is snes-station, which is a peice of shit).

Oh, and if there are SNES emulators other than NVC for modded Wii's, I'll look at them too (my bro has a Wii and has recently agreed to let me mod it when I have all the right stuff).

I'm googling around, but I just thought that (to speed things up) I'd ask here, since there's surely some people here that know of a few good SNES emulators other than the five I listed in my first post.

PS:
Yes, VC is cool, but I'm not interested in it. You guys might be wondering why I'm asking if there are other good emulators... you will see the reason in time.

I've heard that Snes9x GX wii (?) is pretty good for running non-VC games on the Wii, but I don't know how reliable it really is...

SNEeSe is nice, but I'm not sure it's active at the moment ...

I don't know of any other public SNES emulators for the PC.

Ah, can't forget SNEMUL! Sure, hasn't been updated for years, but it's definitely nostalgic!

What does everyone think of MMORPG's like runescape? One that is very similar to World of Warcraft is http://www.gaminghorror.net/runescape-c ... -playable/

Try Snes9X TYL for the PSP.
Thanks for the suggestion, but I don't have a PSP.
EDIT: Umm, does this board filter/modify certain words that people say? (I typed out the name of that portable games console from sony (the one that competes with the Nintendo DS) and it replaced that word with "pee ess fucking pee (it sucks)"
:?

EDIT:
Just testing something...
psp.
PSP.
EDIT2:
Hmm, since the previous post above this has
P
S
P
written on it unfiltered, I thought it might be that this user is "special" or something, but then I thought it was because of the fullstop after the word; seems that isn't the case.

Well, at least the word filtering on this board isn't as bad as the word filtering on RuneScape.

If you wanna know how to say PSP without it being filtered, press ALT+F4 when you see this post.

Do you honestly believe that I am stupid? ALT+F4 is a hotkey for closing whatever window is open and in focus.
(though, I would like to know how to say filtered words without them being filtered) (then again, someone has probably set this filter specifically on me, only, and not imposed the restriction on anyone else).

There are no filters that target specific users and their posts. You can take that the tinfoil hat off now.

whicker: franpa is grammatically correct, and he still gets ripped on?
sweener2001: Grammatically correct this one time? sure. every other time? no. does that give him a right? not really.

Not possible with phpBB2. It's a board wide filter. The old filter for PSP used to be something like overpriced paperweight that can play emulators or something.

I just love the web site that comes up as number 1 if you Google search CTRL-W.

Yeah, that's another hotkey for closing windows that are open and focused on.
Well, to be more precise, in a lot of apps it closes the current page/tab/whatever.
Like, if you're on firefox and you have multiple tabs open, you press ctrl-w and it doesn't close firefox; it just closes the tab that is in focus.

Then why are there a few users here that have written
P
S
P
without it becoming "pee ess fucking pee (it sucks)"?

PS:
If you ask me, the whole idea of filtering words sounds silly and pointless.

Real fact: That's a terrible misquote, deserving of a lock. Just making sure my presence is known since it was unwarrented previously.

Any decent compiler optimises if(0) { franky_talks(); } into lawl opcodes.
