Yes, that's another way of saying it, but most people assume less rpms = worse data rate. They don't think about how the density makes up for it.

it probably helps that the ps3 is huge as well.

insulates quite a bit of sound as well.

not disagreeing or bashing. but it is a little bulky. the 360 could have benefited from a little more bulk for better heat management and air flow.
