What languages are you learning ...

Post by SampleNick11 »

... and what you would learn if you could?

The question is clear enough, so I'm gonna answer what of them I'm learning and what I'd learn if I could.

Right now, at school, I'm learning English (of course, my level is really bad (one of my last marks: 7/10)); I'm learning also French (my level is even worse than in English).
Of course, I'm 'learning' both Spanish and Galician as native languages, but I can speak fluently in both, so I don't consider learning.

I'd learn Swedish and Irish if I could, but it's hard enough to learn to foreign languages, so I don't want to 'overflow' my brain :-)

I've forgotten a really important thing (I thought it wasn't needed):
The language must be a HUMAN LANGUAGE (that is, a 'human-to-human' language), not a PROGRAMMING LANGUAGE (understanding it as a 'human-to-machine' language)

i took a bunch of spanish in hs/college, but it's been ages since i've actually spoken and over a decade since i've studied. my vocab is slipping and tenses tend to get mangled... but i can make myself understood and generally get surprised/appreciative reactions from people whose english is worse than my spanish.
