The entry on france is as correct as saying usa people stopped drinking during the prohibition

I have little idea what the law really says, but in application you just have to be 18 to buy it (whether from stores or bars - but as mentionned, they rarely check when you look old enough). Then anyone can drink it on their own (where they want that doesn't bother other people).

A kid in the street could drink hard shit, I'm not seeing a policeman going over to arrest him as long as he's not noticeably drunk (but then even when you're above 18 you're breaking the law) or bothering other people in any way.
Afaik there is no law explicitely stating 'a kid cannot drink booze'. Which wouldn't be respected anyway, since france is big on alcohol.
There are even low-alcohol (3%) beverages 'made' for kids.

hi, i'm a long time emu user & 1st time on Zsnes board. Glad to have found ya'all. If there are any old school netplay users out there, pm me if you want to play any MP games. My page on youtube should be updated soon with various Snes games i rule. Genesis netplayers our there? That had some fab MP games so i know this is the right place.
