Multimon + mouse movement on windows

Has anyone seen any built-in settings or utilities for Win 7 to change mouse behavior when crossing monitor boundaries? Ideally, I'd like the mouse to pause at the boundary from one monitor to the next, to preserve the usefulness of the infinitely-wide-gui-item paradigm (like how you can slam your mouse to right in a maximized browser and be guaranteed to land on the scroll bar).

Google has not been my friend as of yet, but before I really dig down I wanted to know if any of you had seen anything like this that is NOT driver-dependent (no option but Q43/45 graphics here).
