Savestate start + closing bash script zsnes

Post by T_B »

Hi,

I use ZSNES for 2 games. My idea was to create two desktop links to a script that starts the roms savestate and after closing automatically saves the roms state.
Advantage is less clicking and from a users perspective very easy to use. If this is possible I also like to install a couple of shortcuts on desktops of a friend of mine who has kids that want to play games on his linux desktop that I maintain. They have an ipad so are spoiled and are starting to develop a click and play mentality ;)

My scripting knowledge is very basic so I hope some of you can help me with this.

BTW. I am using Ubuntu 11.10
