ZSNES not registering to PS3 remote

Hey guys,

I'm using ZSNES for my HTPC and I am currently using the PS3 Blue Ray remote

to control my media software. I don't know if anyone is familiar with this software, but I am using the Rom Collection Browser App to show all of my roms. I can simply choose one and the emulator starts in fullscreen with the game already playing. The thing is, I have alt-f4 mapped out to a button on my remote, so if I want to go back to XBMC all I have to do is press that button. The remote doesn't register at all when ZSNES is open, but is fine otherwise.

I don't know if it's a problem with the hardware or ZSNES, but is there any way I can get a quick exit on ZSNES without using a keyboard?

I tried using escape, still doesn't work. I also shut off the GUI.
