Exit zsnes from game

Post by arcade builder »

Hi all! Newbie question here...
Is there a way that I can exit zsnes straight from a game?

The reason I ask is because I am using Mamewah as a frontend, and I would really like to be able to just hit "esc" and go right back to the frontend program instead of the zsnes gui.

I think you can go to the Misc menu, and then game keys to set a key.

Yeah. I usually set 'Q' on my keyboard as the quick exit key. You can also set a button on your game controller, but you wouldn't want to press it accidentally.

I have the combo of Alt+F4 set up on my Zsnes. It works quite well.

Doesn't it work for all applications, by default?

I use the "End" key. It seemed strangely appropriate.

Hmm...and more difficult to press by accident too.

Good idea.

The 'End' key on my keyb is the turbo-A. Home is turbo-X, Insert turbo-Y, Delete turbo-B, Pageup turbo-L and Pagedown turbo-R.

Code: Select all

<jmr> bsnes has the most accurate wiki page but it takes forever to load (or something)

remove turbo from all of those and you've got "no gamepad" configuration, usually using my gamepad though
