I can't get fullscreen to work

Post by Vince15NJ »

No matter what I do, it looks like this on my laptop. Does the same thing when I use an external monitor. I've tried everything down to changing my screen res to 800x600 and changing it to that in zsnes. Any have any advice? Thanks in advance. I don't wanna use another EMU because I love the interface of ZSNES and have used it for years.

what, exactly, is the problem? looks perfect to me.

if you're trying to get it to stretch to occupy every pixel (which will make it not look like how it did on a real SNES, btw), switch to the custom DS full mode and uncheck "Keep 4:3 ratio" on the filters tab.
Why yes, my shift key *IS* broken.

But it is in fact a bit too wide. Closer to 5:3 than 4:3.
No idea what to do about it though.

I'm not sure what you're aiming for.

You need to use a DS mode to stretch the screen, not DR.

Also, Keep 4:3 ratio is by default on (and it's also the the normal ratio for TVs), so if there are black bars, it's because you're trying a 16:9 or 16:10 fullscreen ratio.
