Request: mulit display support(win)

Post by martin »

Basically I want to run Zsnes on a display that's not my primary display(hopefully in full screen mode). I'm on win XP atm. It seems that Zsnes can't be moved from the primary to the secondary display. Anyhow I wasn't able to find any indication that there was an option for this anyhow, I don't know if its something that's reasonably achievable but it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

BTW I do not mean I want the display span many screen; just to be able to display on only say the secondary display instead of the primary

It's a limitation of the way ZSNES does the display.
I think it's set to change for ZSNES2, but I make no promises.

DirectInput represents all bits, not just powers of 2 in an axis.

Yeah, obviously. It's a directdraw limitation, so jumping out of that will fix it.

I second this request. Yes i'm sure it would require alot of work but that part of the emulator should probably be updated anyway?!
- i typed "rm -rf /*" and now my system won't boot

Maybe these people were born without that part of their brain that lets you try different things to see if they work better. --Retsupurae

Switching to Direct3D would not only offer control over whether hardware filtering is enabled for scaling, it would also afford this display spanning and/or crossing. (Well, window positioning would also depend on desktop spanning, and using the correct functions to determine the virtual desktop size.)

silly easter-eggish thing - render to the faces of a polyhedron?

could also be fun (and nauseating) if the surface rendered to was tilted in the direction of p1's directional input :p

</needless and gameplay-destroying ideas>
Why yes, my shift key *IS* broken.

I think the XBox 360 port of R-Type had that as an option, actually...
