Screensaver / ZSNES clash
OK - here's a bug I'd like to know if anyone else has seen this
I'll be playing a game, any game (I use a Gravis Gamepad USB) and once the screen saver interval kicks in, *bang* I lose control of the system. Some tapping of the windows key and ALT/TAB keys later, I finally get Windows to reawaken and then I am able to get back into ZSNES and pick up the pieces of my game (it's still intact but of course the character will have been killed or run off to a point where I didn't want it).
Isn't there any way that ZSNES can be tweaked to 'bump' the system idle timer to keep that from happening? I don't want to have to turn off the screen saver every time I want to start ZSNES, nor do I always remember to tap ESC twice every so often (again, this is to reset the system idle timer)...
Any suggestions?
Run down of my system: (though I'm not sure how much bearing it has on this bug?)
Biostar iDEQ 200V with 512MB DDR RAM, Athlon XP2000+, ATI all in wonder 9000 vid card, OS is W2K Pro SP4 w/ all patches

Please. Pretty please.
Config -> Options -> Enable the last option. You know, the one which disables screensavers.
If that doesn't work, now there's a problem.

Why don't you try to disable the ScreenSaver manually from the
"Display Properties" menu.
Right-Click Desktop select Properties.
Switch ScreenSavors to NONE.
OR
I do believe there is a option in ZSNES under options, at the bottom that
Disables the ScreenSaver.
PLUS Standard Question: Are you ising the Latest WIP of ZSNES.
WIP 8/3/04?!

It seems you beat me to it Mr. GrinVader

The uber prinny baal battle would have been sooo much better with 'd00d's everywhere.
They could have used a bass voice to make baal's... Mwahaha. Take this, d00d. *SMASH* TOTAL DAMAGE 18764312
I'll try to make some uber prinnies on my side (well, uber-god prinnies actually) to get a full-prinny battle.

joe_devore: D'oh! Never thought of it. MANY thanks!
GrinVader: A pity you had to turn this thread into a "whose dick is bigger" thread that is so typical on any gaming forum.
