Top gear 3000 problem

hey,

i guess you will hate me for posting this bug. i've been reading the forums and found a thread with the same bug report from years ago. The thread in question is this one: http://board.zsnes.com/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=11610

Basically, the problem is that in top gear 3000 all the AI controlled cars run on the third lane, making the game really easy. In the thread i posted above, a developer said he knew how to fix it and gave instructions to do so, link here: http://board.zsnes.com/phpBB3/viewtopic ... 96#p196696

Still, i tried the latest version and the problem persist. Could this be fixed for the next release? im running the windows version and have no idea how to fix it myself (i assume that when he gave the instructions it was for people running the linux version?)

It's already fixed. Next release is when it happens.

<jmr> bsnes has the most accurate wiki page but it takes forever to load (or something)

Does the fix restore the gun on the hood?

You can't fix what inherently sucks due to the lack of guns on the hood.
