My Xbox Controller w/adapter doesn't work.

I am new to using emulators. I have been reading up on them. I have it installed and have been playing it for like 3 weeks (ZSNESW). Today I recieved an xbox controller with a USB adapter. It's istalled and ready to use. When I went to play the games the controller did not work for any of them. Is there a setting I am supposed to change or something I missed? Thanks.

Does Windows detect all the buttons, axes, etc. properly?
whicker: franpa is grammatically correct, and he still gets ripped on?
sweener2001: Grammatically correct this one time? sure. every other time? no. does that give him a right? not really.

And have you remapped the controls in ZSNES?
