Two sets of L+R keys?

Gamepad acting up? Keyboard not responding properly? Can't get that other user to work? Read and post about it here.

Two sets of L+R keys?

Post by kompster »

Hi, I've been having trouble setting up my zsnes key config properly. I have enormous sausage fingers.

What I'm trying to do is: Set up both Q and E as LEFT and both E and D as RIGHT

this would help control on my tiny keyboard with pudgy fat hands much easier without constantly hitting the wrong keys

any help is greatly appreciated! thanks!

can't remember the exact name of it, but there's an option to use p3/p4 as p1/p2.

set one pair of buttons on p1, the other on p3, and then both will be usable.
Why yes, my shift key *IS* broken.

Fricken sweet, that worked! thanks!

One more question: how do i go about unmapping PAUSE from P so I can use it to other buttons withhout pausing simultaneously? Wait, nm... See edit.

Edit: in zsnesw.cfg

; Pause Emulation, Frame Advance Keys
EMUPauseKey=25

change to:
EMUPauseKey=0

The pause key shortcut is in the speed menu. Just have a look at all the menus, they won't bite.

Thanks, I resolved the situation and configured both [Q] and [A] as left and [E] and [D] as right, as well as disabling [P] as pause and reconfiguring the 6 buttons as [O][P][J][K][L]
