I am using a USB GamePad Pro in Fedora Core 3. The joypad appears to be working fine, and its at /dev/input/js0. However, when I start Zsnes with the joypad plugged in, it crashes right away. Zsnes runs fine otherwise, without the controller. Is Zsnes looking for the joypad somewhere else? There doesn't seem to be anything in the documentation about this. Thanks.
The joysticks are handled by SDL. You don't get any messages telling the joystick configuration? Maybe you should update SDL (don't know if it's statically linked or not)?
