Can't connect =/

Post by xShadyUserx »

Ok Me and a friend are trying to play Kirby Super star with the version 1.42 of Zsnes both of us are using the same version, both our firewalls are disabled He is on desktop I am on laptop, we are using the IP's not the ones that zsnes says but the ones on www.IPChicken.com I am using a linksys router and i have the port enabled (7845)

Ok when we try (He is starting server) I get the error Error: Could not Initiallize UDP (6/16) : 10048 i get 16 when i try to connect, 6 when i start server. when we try protocol TCP we both get an error "Could not connect to other side" I dont know how much clearer i can put this but we have been trying for a long time, Any help is appreciated, Thanks for taking time to read this.

Are you both on the same LAN or not? If yes, the IP ZSNES tells you are correct.

I'm not sure what you mean but We'll try the ZSNES IP and see how it goes, thanks

If both computers are hooked up to the same router, they are on the same LAN. Therefore the IP told to you by ZSNES most likely is correct.

Remember that both sides have to have their routers/firewalls set properly.

If worse comes to worse, just set (both) your computers outside of the DMZ.
