Game lag/freezes in Netplay every 20 sec

Hiya,

I've got a problem with ZSnes v. 1.42. Im Playing Secret of Evermore via Netplay with my friend and constanly every 10-20 seconds the game freezes for around 5 seconds. Its just stop and u cant either walk nor talk in chat with T key.
My internet is stable, and i have a good speed with sites loading fast good and downloads, and also, when i play on zsnes alone without netplay, i dont have any lags or freezes at all.

Im having vista.. so maybe there is too much shit working in the background.. very often i have my cpu busy around 100% while running zsnes. This problem i have only on my laptop. When i play on normal Comp with XP installed, i also got no lags and freezes in netplay..

Im clueless.. can it be some problem with networkcard or sth like this in laptop?
Please someone give help
