Can not play with 1.36/1.42n and Save Data...

Post by franpa »

Hi, we can play using Netplay in ZSNES 1.36 and 1.42n when we set Save Data to "none" but it hangs every time the host loads a ROM if Save Data is set to "Remote". What can cause this strange behavior? Also UDP occasionally works but very often doesn't let the players connect at all :/

I'm telling you 1.42n has some strange problems and that I never use it. I probably would ONLY suggest to use 1.337zsnes. Not for just some games, but all games. Most of my IM list uses zsnes 1.337 and the people on zbattle. Well... They'll never learn, *cough* *cough* brasil *cough* *cough*. I also never use No Data and it always works for me. Even so I have friends who have programmed new zbattle codes and such, but I can't do a thing. Plus the regular zbattle always has a way of distorting the saves into strange names. That's pretty much all I can tell you for now.

Use save states as an alternative.
