IM GETTING FRIGGIN MAD HEREEEEEEEEEE!

I've forwarded every port on every IP my connection has, did everything I did with other games to host or join..

But.. I CAN'T HOST OR EVEN JOIN!@#$.. I totaly don't understand this..

I've got KPN holland, NAPT protection.. Let 7845 through and 4000 for zbattle.net too both UDP and TCP.. with my Administration thingy..

Disabled windows Firewall and let ports through. Deleted my connection and created that connection again with that windows wizard.

There is friggin nothing I can't do about it!@#$%%

My friend sees I connected to him.. Client found.. But my F*CK*N Computer tells me its still connecting.. We've tried all versions of ZSNES now, and tried all freakin' SNES9X that supports netplay..

But nothing seems to work..

Is there still hope or is this PC doomed?

Remember, if you use UDP, both of you MUST foward your ports.

Are you all using the latest WIP? For some reason, Netplay has been disabled.
That, or there could be an open connection somewhere.
PS: If using Linux, you got the localhost set to 127.0.0.1?
<Nach> so why don't the two of you get your own room and leave us alone with this stupidity of yours?
NSRT here.

No, we aren't using the latest WIP.. Just version 1.42, We'll try the WIP of 4 April then.. See if that helps..

The problem is that he sees me connected ( Client found. ) But I just can't see him.. (Connecting to server..)

Yes, we did everything with ports possible, Tried TCP/IP but.. "Could not connect to other side".

The problem is at my side? :?

You're sure you're both forawrding ports to the right address? That would explain why the host detects the incoming connection, but the client can't detect the host. If neither of you detect eachother by switching sides (client and server), that would confirm it.

Yes....... I can't detect him if I'm server. Waiting for client.....
And he keeps trying to connect to me O_o

Ok, check this screenshot and check the port 7845...

http://www.geocities.com/jeff_webeling/w00t.JPG = Mine
http://www.geocities.com/jeff_webeling/port.jpg = My friends

10.0.0.150 is the IP that ZSNES shows at Netplay.
I use it for other games aswell and always worked fine before.

But I can't host or join a game.. :?

Ok..

10.0.0.150:7845 UDP
10.0.0.150:7845 TCP
10.0.0.150:4000 UDP

Are open..

My IPconfig shows this..

IP-Adress ................ 81.207.13.66
Subnetmask ............ 255.255.255.0
IP-Adress ................ 10.0.0.150
Subnetmask ............ 255.255.255.0
Standartgayeway...... 10.0.0.138

On your pic, I'm wondering if that "State" column has something to do with it.

Your friend shouldn't be forwarding port 0 thru 7845 or 0 thru 80. Change that to 7845 thru 7845 and 80 thru 80. The overlapping port ranges or starting with port 0 could be throwing it off.

Nope, hasn't got anything to do with it. I can host games with SWAT4 and other games on STATE "None". If I just open the ports it always worked before.. But ZSNES is an exception. =/

Thank you for your effort, but it just seems that ZSNES is unable to connect if there are 2 routers.

Have you tried both TCP and UDP? This setting needs to match on both ends.

Well.. We did.. My friend has 2 computers.
1 at his dads and 1 at his moms..

On the other computer which hasn't got a router, netplay works on TCP/IP, UDP doesn't work somehow. :o

The one that has a router just doesn't want me to connect, or my router doesn't want to see him.. :?

His ports are fixed now but it still doesn't work.. I think ZSNES doesn't work with us.. That's all.. There is no logical explenation... :x

I did a CMD

telnet 10.0.0.138
Disabled my firewall with the command defserver addr 10.0.0.150
I also disabled my software firewall.
And it still didn't work..

He unplugged his router and had to reinstall the whole network adapter, cause it didn't work anymore. :P

I've got that crappy speedtouch 510 alcatel of KPN.. And I'm beginning to hate it.

But we really did everything logical is there some nifty secret orso? :?

I'm quite sure this isn't truth. I'm sure there is something wrong with both or one of your routers.

Fixed it.

I called KPN help desk and they told me I had my ADSL configuration at Cable mode orso.

They changed it and we can now finaly play SOM1 and 2. :)

It had something to do with PPPoA and PPPoE.
I had my speedtouch 510 at PPPoA mode while it had to be PPPoE.

We still can't play via UDP but TCP/IP is a big improvement :D

Thank you all for your effort.
